1. Contact
Refund requests must be emailed to [email protected] with your full name, course title, purchase reference if available, and reason for the request. We may ask clarifying questions to prevent fraud.
2. Scope
This policy covers tuition-style enrollment fees for digital courses and workshops sold directly by RiftPilot Academy through channels described on this site. It does not cover third-party marketplaces if we ever pilot external checkout in the future; such cases would be disclosed separately.
3. Timeframe
You may request a full refund within fourteen calendar days of purchase provided you have not downloaded more than twenty percent of protected assets where metering applies. After fourteen days, refunds are discretionary and considered case by case.
4. Eligibility
Eligibility requires good-faith participation. We may deny refunds if materials were substantially consumed, shared beyond licensed scope, or if abuse patterns are detected across multiple accounts.
5. Exceptions
Live workshop seats that explicitly state non-refundable deposits are excluded from the fourteen-day window for the deposit portion only. Enterprise agreements signed offline may supersede this policy where countersigned.
6. Process
Approved refunds are initiated to the original transfer path within ten business days of approval, subject to processor timelines. If the processor blocks reversal, we will coordinate alternative reconciliation paths compliant with local consumer rules.
7. Consumer rights in Korea
Korean consumers may have additional rights under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable protections. For disputes, you may also contact the Korea Consumer Agency for guidance.
8. Partial refunds
Where only part of a bundle is defective, we may offer partial refunds or replacement access instead of a full reversal. We document the rationale in writing.
9. Chargebacks and fraud monitoring
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and could trigger account review. Please email first so we can reconcile records quickly.
